Deep Offshore Technology considers the protection of human health and safety, the environment and quality for all its employees, contractors and customers to be of the utmost importance. As such it is the company’s aim to comply with and exceed the requirements of the HSEQ and ISM Standards, mandatory rules and regulations such as SOLAS and MARPOL ,codes, legislation, guidelines and procedures as they apply, and conform to the best management practices of marine and construction operations. The overall success of the health, safety, environmental and quality programs are based on the following.

 

Management commitment and accountability:

 

Management has responsibility for development, implementation and maintenance of the Integrated Management System (IMS) and International Safety Management (ISM) system and is committed to provide the direction and required level of resources necessary to ensure its effectiveness, and comply with regulations and other applicable requirements. I as the nominated senior manager shall ensure full compliance with group health, safety, environmental and quality objectives.

 

To do this we will:

 

  • Provide leadership, planning and necessary resources throughout all our operations.

     

  • Provide a system of training to ensure proper understanding of all health, safety, environmental and quality procedures, safe working practices, hazard identification and risk assessment and legislative requirements.

     

  • Ensure safe and secure operation of the companies’ vessels.

     

  • Protect employees, assets, and the environment in accordance with Company’s Policy. Furthermore we will make every endeavor to establish safe guards and environmental conditions eliminate or mitigate risks, prevent illness and injuries and prevent environmental pollution; this shall be made the highest priority during planning, operations and marine activities.

     

  • Supply to all our clients safe and qualitative services, by listening to, and understanding their needs, providing innovative and agreed solutions to meet those needs.

     

  • Continual improvement of health, safety, environmental and quality system and performance upon internal and external feedback.

     

  • Continually monitor and improve the competency of personnel within the organization to ensure current and future client and technology needs are achieved.

     

  • Develop comprehensive audit and review systems, and monitor implementation of preventative and corrective actions raised.

     

  • Set goals that encourage us to continuously measure, evaluate and improve our health, safety, environmental and quality performance.

     

A copy of this policy shall be displayed on all company notice boards and each new employee shall be issued with a copy to achieve consciousness about company's commitment upon health, safety, environment and quality. Meanwhile this document shall be available to all interested parties and shall be reviewed at planned intervals.
