Iran's South Pars gas field development project passed an important milestone on May.2007 with the Installation of the first Wellhead platform; SPD8. The 2800-tonne SPD8 topside had already been loaded out at Sadra's Bushehr yard. Installation was carried out by the 5000-tonne lifting capacity HL5000 lift barge belonging to Deep Offshore Technology Company.
