On 13th December 2007, after dry dock’s gate moving by floating method, HL5000 barge launched from SADRA industrial island dry dock. And afterwards she berthed to DOT’s Boushehr key wall.

Following docking activities has been completed on HL5000 after 45 days team working:
·        Hard scrubbing
·        Grit blasting
·        Painting
·        Service of sea chest valves
·        Generators and winches over hall
·        Hull plates renovation
·        Anode installation
·        Inspection and repair of ballast tanks
·        Conversion of two ballast tanks to fresh water tanks
·        Inspection and repair of hooks & booms
·        Installation of emergency generator
·        Renovation of fenders
·        Installation and completion of mechanical safety systems of generators
·        Tension meter installation on winches
·        Change of barge classification ( from ABS to GL)
