On 4th May 2008, Load out, Transportation and Installation of the arch span of the Orumieh bridge with 103 m length and 1300 tons weight successfully completed by DOT.

considering special environmental condition of Orumieh lake, unstable weather conditions in spring season and also unavailability of special offshore equipments due to inaccessibility to open seas, This operation needed not only a professional and experienced offshore team but also a good knowledge of offshore engineering which DOT, by fulfilling all of engineering and service providing, HSE and QC requirements carried out the job successfully and gained satisfaction of the Client and its Danish consultant Company (COWI).

The considerable technical point of this Project was Marine Transportation of the monolith Steel module using to separate barges simultaneously, and caring out the load out and installation operation using Float over method by Ballast and Deballasting two barges simultaneously.

For Construction of Orumieh Causeway Bridge, Iran Ministry of Roads and Transportation is the Client and SADRA Company is EPC contractor of the bridge which connects Orumieh and Tabriz together by  about 2 km causeway Bridge on Orumieh Lake.
