On 6th – June 2008, Load out operation of SPD7 topside in weight of close to 3000 tons started by HL5000 barge and successfully completed by lifting method in less than 6 hours.
SPD7 heavy structure is the second topside of phases 6, 7 & 8-South Pars Gas and Oil field, which will be transported to the field for offshore installation by completion of its sea fastening operation.
Bear in mind that this topside is the heaviest topside in Persian Gulf which will be installed by lifting method by Deep Offshore Technology Company in the near future.
